This particular swimming day we had was lots of fun and lots of scary excitement!!! We went swimming with my FIL and my nephew Justin, the kids had a great time until...Crew caught a live snake with his bare hands!!! That's right! He caught a snake in the pool and was trying to EAT IT! EEEW! I grabbed Crew out of his little float and told my FIL quietly that there was a snake in the pool, he fished it out and things settles down. But I couldn't stop thinking about the fact that Crew almost ate a live snake! Gross!!! It wasn't too big, maybe just over a foot long and it was really thin -a harmless garden snake but I was freaking out! Later that evening Crew also took his very first steps! Snake catching and walking all in the same day!
To be a child and have no fear - EWWWW! I would have freaked out! Great job keeping your composure, Vanessa! And congrats on a walking boy! I hope we can finally make it to playgroup one of these days to see him do it!
